Roberto Quadrini is an engineer graduated from the University of La Sapienza in Rome, renowned for his innovative approach in the application of mathematics to energy, optimization, and machine learning.
He is the author of advanced algorithms for power grid balancing, with a particular focus on Demand Response applications aimed at enhancing flexibility and intelligent management of energy resources.
He has developed patents, including the General PSB Methodology, for balancing the electrical grid through flexible consumption systems, contributing to innovation in the smart grid sector.
As co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Tecnalogic S.r.l., he leads the development of the NegaWh EXchange platform dedicated to intelligent balancing of energy demand and supply in the market. This advanced solution enables active consumption management and adaptive user response, aiming to make the electrical system more efficient, sustainable, and competitive.
Currently, he is engaged in creating mathematical engine based on artificial intelligence for cybersecurity strategies in power grids, through adaptive modulation of aggregated consumption in response to exogenous and endogenous events.
He has held institutional roles as an expert evaluator in national projects under MiTE-ENEA and Mission Innovation (ENEA, CNR, RSE), and is the author of numerous scientific publications. He is active as a speaker and disseminator on topics related to energy flexibility and innovation in grid management.
